Slip On Flange

A fairly common type that is less expensive to install and requires less precise pipe cutting. Stretch the steel pipe, pipe fitting, etc. into the flange hole and connect it to the pipe through the fillet welds at the top and bottom of the flange. Since the flange hole is larger than the pipe diameter, it usually requires more welding action than other flanges, so it can effectively prevent leakage.
