Gate Valve

The gate valve uses the valve stem to drive the gate plate to move linearly. When used half-open, the fluid impacts the gate, which can easily cause vibration and damage to the valve seat, so it is not suitable for throttling purposes. The distance between the two end faces of the gate valve is short and the flow resistance is small. The fluid is perpendicular to the gate, so less force is required to open and close.
